Lt. Gen. Gianmarco Chiarini

Lt. Gen. Chiarini is the Italian Military Representative to the Military Committees of NATO and the EU. Former Commander of the NATO Rapid Deployable Corps-ITA, he served as Deputy Commander of the Allied Rapid Reaction Corps in Rheindahlen, Germany, Commander of the EUFOR mission in Bosnia-Herzegovina and Commander of the Italian Joint Task Force-Iraq during the operation “Antica Babilonia” in Nassiriyah. Prior, he held other significant posts, such as Commander of Multinational Brigade-SE (Salamander) in Bosnia-Herzegovina, IT Rapid Reaction Corps Chief of Staff in Solbiate Olona, COMKFOR Executive Assistant in Pristina, AFSOUTH Joint Operations Branch Chief in Naples, and Deputy Chief of Civil Affairs of HQ IFOR in Sarajevo.
