The Future of Atlanticism in Italy constituted the subject of a two-days meeting that took place at the Council Hall of the Municipality Palace of Velletri on November 24-25. The meeting gathered the leading bodies of the Italian Atlantic Committee, the Members of the Permanent Committees, the President and Delegates of the national and local organizations affiliated to the Italian Atlantic Committee, and qualified representatives of the political, military, diplomatic, academic, economic and media sectors. Such a meeting is named Italian Atlantic Council and is called on special occasions in order to define the policy of the Italian Atlantic Committee and its contribution for a more effective role of Italy into NATO.
